CAFE BLISSNew post is dedicated to the recipe for cookie Cafe Bliss from the same name cafe – Cafe Bliss. My personal experience of visiting Cafe Bliss HERE: 25: BIO LIVE FOOD IN CAFE BLISS-Victoria, British Columbia. Recipe for cookies Cafe Bliss is found in the book Blissful: Raw Food Recipes from Cafe Bliss. And because Christmas time is coming and with it the preparation of sweets I am not afraid of to recommend these excellent raw cookies to add in your Christmas collection. They can be great as a snack, breakfast served with raw milk for example or as already mentioned Christmas sweets. There is no limit for imagination. I enjoyed my batch of cookies served with home-made raw milk while reading the new book from which I learned some interesting insights about eating, food, nutrition and sport and what effect all these have on our body.
Let’s look at the recipe.

CAFE BLISSMemories of the city Victoria and recipe for cookie Cafe Bliss

Ingredients:
4 ripe bananas
½ cup dates
¼ tsp salt
3 ½ cups dried shredded coconut
3 cups walnuts
1 ½ cups raisins
1 cup goji berries
1 cup pumpkin seeds
¾ cup hemp hearts
¾ cup cacao nibs
½ cup golden flax seeds

Directions:
CAFE BLISS1. Place bananas, dates and salt in blender and blend to a smooth consistency.

2. Pulse walnuts in a food processor to a crumbly consistency or chop them with a knife.

3. Place walnuts and banana mix in a large bowl along with remaining ingredients and mix. This is done best with your hands.

4. Place Teflex sheet or other non-stick sheet on a flat surface. Form cookie dough into rounds using hands and set on Teflex sheet. Press cookies down to form rounds 3 to 4 inches in diameter, approx. 1inche thick. Gently place formed cookies onto the dehydrator tray screens.

CAFE BLISS5. Dehydrate at 115 °F for 12 – 24 hours. Dehydrate Langer for a crunchier cookie and porter for a chewier cookie. Store cooled cookies in a cookie jar or air tight container.

Enjoy a delicious mix of nuts, seeds, dried and fresh fruit with crunchy cacao nibs at the end.
